DupScout Server Web-Based Management Interface

In addition to the DupScout client GUI application and the command line utility, DupScout Enterprise provides a web-based management interface allowing one to control one or more servers using a regular web browser locally or via the network. The web-based management interface allows one to search duplicate files, save various types of reports, remove duplicate files, perform history trend analysis operations and schedule periodic duplicate files search operations.

By default, the web-based management interface is disabled and in order to enable the web-based management interface, open the DupScout client GUI application, connect to a server, open the 'Options' dialog, select the 'Server' tab, select the 'Enable Web Server' option and press the 'Save' button.

In order to connect to the DupScout Enterprise web-based management interface, open a regular web browser, type the host name or an IP address of the server to connect to and login to the DupScout Enterprise web-based management interface using the default (admin/admin) user name and password.

DupScout v18.1 adds a new, adaptive duplicate files search mode, adds support for new file types to the built-in file classification plug-ins allowing one to search specific types of duplicate files and improves the duplicate files search statistics pie charts. In addition, the new version improves the duplicate files search options dialog, improves the DupScout command line utility and fixes a number of bugs.

DupScout v18.0 redesigns the duplicate files search results dialog, adds the ability to filter file search reports by the report ID and improves the file search reports dialog. In addition, the new product version improves the JSON, CSV and XML duplicate files search reports, improves the main DupScout GUI application and fixes a number of bugs.
